I decided to redesign my Pitchiker branding as it was not as strong as I think it could be.
The first thing I changed was the font I used. Before I used the font “Racing Sans One” but I changed it to “Sofia Pro Soft” which is a more rounded font. I chose this font as it worked well for the new logo that I created.
Next to change was the colours. This time I used a lighter orange and darker blue. I think it gives it a more professional look.
A player and coach are represented by the two bottom lines of the logo. Both paths are aligned towards one goal. The arrow represents upward progress. The head of the figure represents the goal that they are both pursuing.
As you can see above, I played around with a lot of different fonts, sizes, and positions. At the bottom right are seven that I felt were the strongest. Based on that, I chose the logo that best represented what Pitchiker is all about.
